Almost everywhere in this era of modern living, you may find home furnishings that are vigorously sleek and innovative. I recall sometime in my office in the Philippines where we had our division room renovated; Individual cubicles were installed and see through dividers were erected, matched with cozy chairs and sofas to lie on during break times. A year or so passed, the new furnishings unfortunately wore out its temporal beauty and seemingly unshakable might - corner and edge caps started to fall and eventually led to diminishing value.

* Do not rush on buying things - learn and practice the art of patience.

* Do not be tempted by the sales and bonus offers - think about the items quality.

* Do not forget your basic rights as consumer - make sure to ask about the stores policy on refunds and exchanging items.

* Read the embedded contracts.

* Attend product showcases and assess diligently.

* Get a reliable procurer, should your end need such.
